I may have some clear plastic hoses laying around the garage. Hopefully, one of them fits as a patch. I'll post pics tomorrow with the fix.

Side note: would that small vac leak be the cause of my idling issues? Do all the vac lines connect?

You shouldn't have any vac leaks period. Multiple small leaks can cause idling problems and make other system run abnormal.

Any vacuum leak will increase idle.

You may want to think about replacing them all soon. Cheap, and not to hard. Google rubber vacuum system for your truck and there is a thread on it somewhere.

Here is my 19 cent fix. This will do for now. I will look into changing all vacuum lines in the future. Thanks for the advise.

Haha, it does the same thing. You should sell that. In the advertisement put a "clear so that vacuum can be monitored. Ads 50 hp and 6-100 mpg." Lol I bet people would buy it with all the other cheap out there.

Does anyone know of anywhere that sells the correct hard vacuum lines in color? I'd like to do my system back with all the right fittings and colors. I just did an intake job on a truck that had all original lines and it looked so nice and I could follow the factory color chart. Someone must sell it in bulk.

It would be cool if a kit was sold for our trucks.
