I, too am having a problem with my fuel. My truck starts fine at first start and runs smooth but shuts off when auto-chock kicks off. I have replaced the fuel filter, high pressure electric fuel pump, O2 sensor and still the same prob. 1987-5.0 automatic. When it cuts off, there is a whiningbuzz in addition to the normal pump hum. the sound seems to be coming from the lower area drivers side engine area between the fuel filter and fuel manifold. Any other ideas?
