Default Head gasket

IM trying to sell my 1990 f150. I just got an 05. I think the left side head gasket needs changed. I know it's expensive, but how hard is it to do it yourself?

Not quite. Normal people know that when someone posts something, they wanna know for them, not for the smart *** that knows more about it than they do.

I guess that makes you a dumb ***? Not easy for dumb asses.

Seriously, how are we supposed to know your abilities? Very vague questions get vague answers.

No. Not really a dumb ***. I have done a lot to the engine. Just never to the head.
Now, who knows how difficult it is to an average joe (not Sean) who knows a little bit about an engine?

It really isn't that bad.. Do a little research, figure out ye torque specs, take it apart, remember how to put it back together. I think your head bolts are reusable.

Basically, it should be easy for anyone that can follow directions. Pick up the manual. If you can't remember how it goes back together take pictures and notes. Label things with tape. It's almost like changing any other part, except you have to take a lot apart. And torqueing and tightening sequences.
