i like it but i think maybe it would look better if the letters were a little closer together. but thats just my opinion

Even better if the letters were wider.

But I agree, start with them bit closer together. Think it could end up looking odd if those letters were stretched to wide without going bolder all together. Also very aware not going for a exact replica.

With that said, hell of a look thus far no question about that. Think this is gonna be better looking than I thought.

I actually came up with this idea by accident. And those are the letters off of the tailgate xD I got about half of it bolted on before I had to go to work.
My original idea was just the mesh then I found rubber diamond plate strips that match my toolbox exactly. I was gonna just Trace and cut the letters out and put red neon behind the grille so you could see it at night real good. Then I popped the chrome piece in and it looked good so I'm running with it

I know Michigan law is only Yellow or White (blueish I imagine counts. ie: HID) forward facing lights. Dunno how uppidy they'll get in Ohio about Red in the front?

With that said, I'd still almost considering trying a neon tube across the underside of the top to give a nice backlight at night. Would have to be mellow though. Too bright is just a too obnoxious "Look at me!!" Especially for our older trucks lol

A wide shot of it placed up on the truck might help determine how it's looking. Even if its propped on the bumper and/or masking taped on over the stock grille.

I'll get to it lol in those pictures it's not even bolted together yet. The diamond plate withe the FORD is just sitting on it lol and I was planning just a mellow light so you could see it at night with the running lights
