Me too lol I'm kinda afraid I wont like it on my truck. I know it'll look dumb with chrome headlight bezels but like u said just a mock up. The chrome letters aren't fastened on yet and it needs one new coat of paint. I at least want to liquid nail the letters on first

Just put some scotch tape, it's called mock up for a reason haha. It's only gotta hold for 20 seconds to snap a picture!

I have way too much expereince with mock ups. Sadly a lot of them don't make it to the final cut

I still have a ways to go until I feel it's worthy of being on my truck. I mean after all this is the first real project I've done. Tomorrow at some point I'll tape er on lol I got the day off so I can have the letters attached and the final coat of paint done. I'm thinking about putting some chrome trim around the centerpiece. If you look real close it's not a perfectly straight line. I know nobody else would notice it but it's enough to bother ME o.O

I liked your idea so
I thought I would try something similar with a old grill i had. Here's what I did today. I think I will paint it flat black when it's done.

I like the mesh you used a lot more. It's thicker and you can see it better lol my intention was to just have the mesh grille and paint it black and call it a day or in my case a month... But earlier today I had a Jimmy Neutron moment.... BRAINBLAST!!

Ya I just went to a local welding shop and they had 4 different styles. So I picked this One.
I'm thinking I'm going to put the ford symbol back in the center.

I like the ford logo in the bottom corner lol and it's not as hard as I thought it would be. I missed a couple important detail in the first few steps but it's my first one so I'm pretty happy how it turned out
