Default got a few things

Got me a tach to install tomorrow, gonna look up one of the many threads and hope for lots of pics and little words.

Also got a remote start switch, cause I'm going to need it to make it a little easier to get to the torque converter drain plug; and I know I'll need one for other work at some point.

And of course a new trans filter and pan gasket (rubber). Just need fluid (lots, apparently) for the trans and some for the diffs and transfer.

Pep boys and $44 I think. They had a smaller one for $19-$20 But I figured the bigger one would be easier to read.

I was going to order a digital one from online somewhere but they were pretty expensive.

yeah they are and still might fog up it all depends on how well they are made i guess. the fluid filled ones are the best they will never fog up but cost much more then 40 bucks.

Yes they do cost more.. Maybe I can just rig mine so the face is water tight or atleast wont leak and just make a fluid one myself. Or just take the face plate off. If its not vacuum sealed that is. Or .... I wonder how hard it would be to make your own digital one...

don't make a fluid one yourself i see smoke in your future if you do LOL
a digital one might be an easier way to go if you are good with circuits but i would say do the dash swap its easy, cheap and will not fog up
I may swap my tach out with at least a better fluid 2 inch one like i have now maybe one that the display color can be changed.

I've already got mine and I don't mind the fogging, I'll find a way to fix it, if it ever starts fogging up on me. Thank you though.
