a digital one might be an easier way to go if you are good with circuits but i would say do the dash swap its easy, cheap and will not fog up
I may swap my tach out with at least a better fluid 2 inch one like i have now maybe one that the display color can be changed.
Lol. Maybe. And I'll save the dash swap for when I'm back home. Bigger salvage yard with "better" trucks to pick from. I actually saw one my size or a bit smaller at PBs that had a white face and 7(maybe?) Different colors the light up could change to. Even had a button on the front to change the colors.

My cluster fogs up on occasion... Still readable but not pretty.

And a factory tach is going to be less accurate than the tach the OP bought I believe

that is correct but it all depends on which aftermarket one you buy the digital ones are the obvious choice for accuracy.

Oh damn I forgot to take pics while I was working....always forget my camera when I go out there...

Put in a new vapor canister (old one was all messed up and corroded from PO)
Put in a new little filter thing inside the air box (not the big air filter, its the thing the smaller hose on the side connects to)
Changed my engine oil/filter
Put a new nifty little drain plug on the engine pan
Changed my tranny fluid, filter, and pan gasket
Changed my transfer fluid
Changed my fuel pressure regulator (honestly don't know why...I had the part so I swapped it)
But I'm saving my tach for tomorrow after work.
