Yuck, 2.73 sounds gross, power wise... what kind of mileage are you getting though?

 

Average in town most of the time is 20mpg and a little better on the highway.....thats with a 5 speed keepin her under 2k rpm's and shifting about 2500 rpm's

What would be the next lowest i could go and still keep my mpg.....i was thinkin like 300 or 355

I have 3.55, leveled w/ 2 inch of lift, 31's, and my 302 ain't exactly tip top right now. I'm getting somewhere from 11-14 right now, I believe. But, I'm a bit aggressive on the throttle, love the put-you-in-your-seat-at-55 it's got. The shorter you go, the more power you'll feel. The lower the mileage.

 

So with 355 i could still prob get my 20 mpg cuz i have to use the throttle a lot to take off with my 272's
