You'd have to compensate, A LOT with your driving habits, to still get 20. 3.55 would probably get you 17 at best. But I'm also unaware of the I6's mileage habits.

Quite possible that 17 is it. But, I'm no expert, some other opinions would be good too

I have a 2wd 4.9l with a five speed and 3.55 gears the best I have ever gotten was around 16 with mixed driving. I also do not have a tach so I do not know what rpm it is at when I shift. If you do allot of highway driving I would not get the 3.55 because my truck sounds like it is going to blow up if you go over 80 mph. On the other hand I can tow just about annything.

So wat about a 3.00 gear.....and another question can a person swap out a rearend from a 97 mustang and put in say a truck like mine.....i would like the disc brakes on mine
