Gear Shift problem
Hi all, I bought my 5 speed 1995 F150 XL two months ago and the guy who owned it before me had the clutch and master cylinder replaced. Everytime I drive it now, I notice a sort of buzzing sound when I shift from 1st-2nd-3rd gear. Occasionally (maybe twice a week or so) it's hard for me to shift into 1st gear from a stop (the shifter makes a horrible grinding noise and vibrates); once I have the problem of shifting into 1st I just re-pump the clutch and try again and it usually goes into 1st with no problems, but it still makes the buzzing (or whinding) sound.
For a little while, I thought it was just because I was new to driving 5 speed and perhaps I was doing something wrong, but after having a mechanic friend who has the exact same truck as me riding with me, once he heard the noise and felt the shifter not go into gear as smooth as it should, he told me that this is not normal.
After doing a bit of research, I think it could be the slave cylinder, or the clutch disk and pressure plate. Has anyone ever had a similar problem or perhaps have any suggestions on what I should do about it? I'm going to call a few local mechanics today and see if they would be willing to take a look at it for me, but I thought if anyone has had a similar problem, then figuring out what's going on would be a lot easier and I can fix this up quick.
Thank you for any insight

Does it buzz with the clutch pressed in, let out or both? Your shifter bushings may be worn adding to the problem. The 1-2 shift fork can be worn which makes it hard to get into 1st. The firewalls on these trucks have a habit of pushing out which throws out the clutch pedal too.
So, I have been at trainings and conferences for what feels like forever to get ready for the new school year (math teacher
).
The shifter will make the buzzing sound whether the clutch is pressed in or not, while I'm coasting through parking lots in first gear or sitting at a stop light. I have noticed though, as I've had some time to practice my new 5 speed driving skills by going to all of these trainings, if I press in the clutch for about 3 seconds prior to shifting, I can shift into gear as free as a bird and there will be no buzzing sound. Of course, I can't exactly wait 3 seconds to shift between 1st and 2nd gear when turning into traffic, so the buzzing sound commences pretty quickly. However, I have been trying my best to hold the clutch in for 3 seconds prior to shifting from neutral to 1st just so I don't run the risk of grinding the gears.
I don't know if this description helps, but it's what I've noticed in the past couple of weeks. It's driving me nuts, every time I shift from 1st to 2nd, or just into 1st, I constantly worry about grinding the gears. I've only had the slip up twice in the past two weeks, but driving would be so much more enjoyable if I didn't have to count seconds every time I get into gear
Any help on what this could possibly be would be greatly appreciated. I do recall the previous owner telling me that the fork is a bit worn and will sometimes cause shifting to seem like a hard push, but it will always go into gear. He's right, I never have a problem getting the truck into gear, but this buzzing sound is driving me crazy
