gauges
so i put a tee in the heater hose and ran another hose from the tee to my temp sensor for my gauge and it still isnt reading cause theres no flow through the additional hose....any ideas of what i need to do????
The probe has to contact flowing water, you should have enough probe lead length to go to a heater hose if not try to move the probe hole closer to the engine. Unless you got the short 3 foot probe.

yeah i may have to drill a new hole in my firewall so that i can get it closer...i didnt really wanna have to do that but i may have to....also whats my oil pressure supposed to be at cause it seems kinda low...i havent drivin it with it on but idk
Didn't wana make up a new thread so bringn up an old one. My oils pressure at idle is about 5 psi once warned up and while driving and cruising about 15-20. And on a cold start it's 40 until the truck warms up are these reading fine or do I have a problem. And it's a 1989 4.9 300 4x4. has about 280,000 miles on er.
