This is for mech gauges

1- go to the irrigation aisle, find a gray irrigation tee 5\8 barb 1\2" thread 5\8 barb, straight tee with barbs on both ends and 1\2 thread in center, and 2 hose clamps, install tee in heater hose that is 5\8, the adapter will screw into tee

2- go to plumbing, get a 1\4" tee, 1- 1\4" x 1 nipple, and a 1\4" x 2 nipple just in case, find oil sending unit, unscrew, screw small nipple in, screw on tee, screw orig sending into tee, screw line adapter into tee.

Dont forget sealant on all threads, I never did electric gauges but this system might work with adapters for the senders, I also do this to keep factory gauges.

Water temp is first step, its hard to take photos due to locations of senders, it is fairly easy to do. I never put in an ammeter, but to get full draw you will have to run 2 wires from the 10 gauge main wire on the battery. Besides I am not familiar where the oil sender is on a -6.

there might be 2 sizes, a 3\4 and 5\8, it doesnt matter, there is flow in either hose. What ever hose you use make sure of size and barb adapter size. the 5\8 barb is a little loose for the 3\4 hose.

I usually mount mine just left of the ash tray or under ash tray I dont smoke and I dont use it but my cb is there so the gauges are next to it., and you didnt say if you got mech or elec gauges.
