i think im going to start with replacing that one plug wire that i fubared and see if that helps.... i put the metal retaining clip back onto the wire the best that i could, but it may not be making very good connection (arching).... i just wonder if that'll make the truck "hiccup" every once in a while lol

Symptoms of a Defective Throttle Position Sensor
Following is a list of symptoms, either of or a combination of which, a car driver may experience because of a defective throttle position sensor:
  • Bucking and jerking of the car
  • Idle surging
  • Sudden stalling of the car engine
  • Hesitation while the driver of the car is trying to accelerate
  • Sudden surge in car's speed while driving on the highway

i wonder if my TPS sensor is bad because the first symptom is bucking and jerking of the vehicle.... and im thinking with that symptom being first on the list, then thats the most common way of knowing a TPS sensor is shot.... hmmm
