Default fuel issue.

So after having my rear pump replaced in november and thinkng all is well it seems my front tank is once again putting fuel into the rear tank. is there a way to have a external check valve or maybe in swap a 30+ gallon bronco tank into the rear and just forget about the front tank

External valve is not an option. Cleaning the tank and replacing fuel pump assembly should help.

It bothers me too, although I buy them from Ebay for about $40 each, and at this moment I have 3 spare ones "just in case". Yes, it's cheap chinese ****, but my current set lasts for 6 monts already.

There is a external check valve that ford had on a recall to help with this problem. I was talking to a service manager the other day and he said that they have trippled in price since they first came out. So I went to a salvage yard and picked up a couple for spares.

I really don't think a 30 gal bronco tank will fit in the rear, just fix the fuel pump...alot easier

Yes you can put a Bronco tank in the F150, but you will have to move the spare.

Clean both tanks, as you'll be there. Should help to extend pump lifetime
