Default Front Wheel Drive

Hey y'all. Would there be any reason I shouldn't drive my truck with just the front driveshaft in? I need to get my rear one lengthened but I'd like to try out the tranny and make sure its good.

Cool. I know there's been plenty of people who've done it, I just didn't want it to screw anything up

Cool deal. Well, where the truck is now wont be a problem cause its down on the back forty and its grass and dirt but the user manual for my lock right lockers tells me to not have the 4wd engaged on dry pavement, so I'm just gonna do it to move the truck up into the shop.

Driving a FWD truck is a bit goofy at first but its super fun to do burnouts in the gravel Lock the parking brake and do front end donuts.

Ehh. I ain't gonna try anything crazy. Just need to get it up on the road and measure for the custom driveshaft I need made cause I'm using a bronco transfer case and the bronco shaft is too short. Not that it doesn't sound fun!
