Default front end noise help.....

Alright so ive searched threw alot of older threads looking for someone that had a similar issue. I will explain it the best i can but please ask questions. So about two weeks ago i let my buddy drive my truck in the snow(bad idea) he slid the front passanger wheel into a 90degree curb(not a rounded off one). so now when you apply the brakes sometimes it starts to rattle/creak/vibrate. the thing is it will do it sometimes when you turn left or right, and it only does it in drive, and on the brakes. My dad and i have been trying to figure this out for acouple weeks now. If the noise is going and you move it to neutral and stay on the brakes it goes away, but the minute it goes back into drive it starts again. i replaced the rattle clips on the pads. any ideas aneone? the tierod is nice and tight like it should be. is it a bushing maybe? or what thanks for the help guys

look at the bushings on the i beams. my buddys truck did somethin like that, and it would pop real loud when he hit a good bump. turned out to be the i beam bushings.

alright, i will check that! but it only does it in ddrive, i think its transmission related, lastngiht i went down a hill put it in neutral tryed to hit every bump possible it didnt do it and hit the breaks it didnt no it, then i went down it again in drive and it did it, could it be i have loose bolts on the housing going to the block so the tranny is twisting? and so the fly wheel is catching something?

If you think that might be it, maybe you should take a look.

Possible broken tranny mount. I had a truck that did it just like yours. And they are notorious for breaking.

checked the i beam bushing and that is fine. yesterday i checked all the bolts on the housing where it goes to the block and those are tight i check the tranny mount the bolts are tight but i think i should look up there again because the bolts could be tight but the mount could be broken right? or am i wrong? lol just wondering ahaha

yes.. you are right.. you should make sure that you are 100 percent positive that its not what you think it is before you eliminate that from one of the possibilities.. sounds like you may need a hand looking over your truck
