Default Front Differential problem?

well i went offroading in my 93 f150 this past weekend and yeah when i was cleaning my truck i crawled underneath and seen the breather for front differential was gone. so then i looked and seen their was fluid leaking out the side and i think it is from the diff. and it smells like diff. fluid. and now today i walked outside 2 days later and seen all the fluid on the ground. looks to me that i would have to take the I-beam front end off and stuff.

-is it hard to remove the front diff.? i it is really hard i am probably going to switch gears cause it got 3.08 open right now and i want to switch to maybe 3.55ls.

-for the breather tube what can i use to replace it? gas line? and after i replace it can i possibly just get a longer length and run the tube up into the engine compartment?

dont know much about 4x4s but i know this if you change the gear in the front you have to change the one in the back cause if you do difrent gears one will try to over come the other and thats really really bad

i know that if i change the front i have to do the rear also. i am just wondering how i would take the front one off. im guessing with all of the oil on the ground that it is probably an axel seal.

You can use gas line. Best to run the vent as high as possible, especially if you go through deep water.
