Guys !.... enjoy, is all I can say. Up here in Canada, I'm paying over 5.00 a gallon. Our gallon is a little bigger but not that much.
They switched us over to metric a while back and started selling it to us in litres, presumably so we wouldn't notice how much a gallon is costing us.

Personally I think the whole SAE system is retarded. 90% of the world uses metric and it is so much easier to convert from one reading to the next or to know if size x is too small try y then z, instead of 5/8 to small must go 11/16 or maybe 3/4.

case in point:

Yeah it was amazingly coincidental that within a few months of gas going over 1.00 a gallon, they changed us to metric and started selling us litres.

And here I was excited about 2.25 a gallon. I have no problem with our measuring system, but only because I know it. Metric does make much more sense, and I would have no problem using it.
