yup it is plug and play. just remember that if you get one from a 95 it needs to be OBDI. also try to pull from a truck that has the same options or close to them as yours. I.E. if yours is a v8 pull one from a v8.

I pulled mine from an Eddie Bauer v8 auto and put it in my xl straight 6 5 speed. I just had to take it apart and swap the Speedo. You will want to do this any way to keep the correct mileage.

its great that yours worked so well some tend to complain of having issues when there that different. but who knows what their real issues might be. well it looks like i got one more tidbit of info to jot down on this subject.

Any cluster will work you will just have to re-pin the wires....Should only be 3 wires.... Easy to do just need a small flat head screw driver....No need to cut any wires...
92-93 clusters the same...94-95 Clusters the same....96 is different
I did a 95 F150 Lightning Speedometer Conversion on my 92 f150...Also did the Real Oil pressure gauge conversion by swapping out the 95 oil pressure gauge with the 92 and jumpering the resister on back of the speedometer with a wire/solder...Used a 85 Mustang oil pressure sensor. Had to extend the plumbing with some 1/4" NPT copper plumbing ect...
