finally finished the truck, all back together and running like a top. it turns out i had a problem with the transmission and i had a guy rebuild it. after having installed the torque converter to the flywheel and then the tranny once i tried to start it it just jammed up and the starter would not turn. i quickly realized what i had done and repeated the process i only had to separate the tranny from the torque converter and then the torque converter from the flywheel and then put the whole thing back together with the torque converter on the tranny this time then bolted it all on the flywheel and after i was finished it started! now it runs great took her out for a little mud digging and she did great now i can finally start on the fun stuff. thanks for all the help and though she was a pain in the neck i still love my ford.
