Default frozen door locks

so my f150 is honestly the first vehicle I have owned without key less entry. Today I had to thaw the door lock with a heat gun! I was able to get the key in but not turn it until after a couple minutes with the heat gun.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

you can buy a little bottle of door lock antifreeze, its jus a liittle bottle with a little tip on it you stick inside your door lock and squeeze, the only other way to fix it is to park in a heated harage?

Move south lol Like the above said, use some of the stuff do keep it from freezing. WD40 will help keep the water away so it cannot freeze.
