Default F150 electrical problem

Yesterday i was test driving my fixed up 1987 f150, in short ran out of gas few miles from home i switched it to the front tank (which was full of fresh gas) and i could not get it to start.

Its not the fuel pump, i believe its the electrical because when i spray ether directly into the intake and crank it it doesnt start up for a second it just cranks.

i took the boot off the coil plug and touched it to the distributar cap and cranked it to see if it would spark and nothing, now i have replaced the coil, distributer cap and solenoid and i still can not get elecricity to the engine. Any ideas anybody? I dont know what to do...

Thats why he asked if the rotor button was turning. If it isn't turning, the distributor is probably bad, or worse. I had an accord that wasn't turning the button, turned out to be a broken camshaft.

UPDATE: ive checked the rotor and its turning. my neighbor had a electrical wire testing thing to test if theres electricity in wires. and we have figured out that there is electricity going into the coil but none coming out. when we unplugged the ignition module there was still power going to the coil. Any ideas why no electricity is coming out? I replaced it again incase of a faulty coil but it still not working.

P.S. I tested the computer code with a self testing device and i got a 33 (PIP code error)

i was working on a 94 Mustang GT over the summer and we had the same problem. We tried everything but overlooked the control module and that was the problem. Bought a new one for 52 dollars and it cranked right up.

Hope I can be of any assistance.
