The EGR is a VALVE.

The EVP is a SENSOR reading the position of the valve in the EGR.

IT (the EVP) needs a certain minumum voltage to operate.

YOUR EVP is below that voltage. Check the connections to the EVP - clean the connections and reassemble. Start there. OR replace the EVP & EGR

that sensor (if its the one i am thinking of) can be disassembled and cleaned. someone correct me if im wrong but thats the one by the coil with the electrical harness and the 2 vacuum lines.
mine was dirty, i disassembled and cleaned it and it ran alot better and didnt have an idle surge anymore.

Start w/ running KOEO, & specify as active or continuous memory codes & state the actual code number(s).https://www.f150forum.com/f10/heads-...05/#post623219

Ok, I will. Position Senor ---------->
You're refering to the EGR Regulator.

I've seen this happen on aftermarket (non-mororcraft) replacement EVP sensors. What was yours? Were you getting this code before you replaced it?

However, here's some other possibilities: http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=35

it was a knock off one like standard motors or something...i wasnt getting this code before....

i notice my egr wasnt openng or doing anything so i replaced the egr n decided just to replace the evp...

the egr is durlast from autozone

i thought changing the egr would solve my missing sound at low rpms but that didnt happen
