Default Engine swap

I have a 93 f150 with a 302 and im contemplating swaping it for a 351w. I have heard that the 302 computer will work fine with the 351. Is this true?

Since your truck isn't mass air I would say go ahead and get the computer too. It will work with the 5.0 computer, but it will work better with the 5.8 one and it plugs right in.

Probably not a lot, but enough for me to want the right computer. If it was mass air it would adapt better.

When doing the swap would the 351w fit onto the 302 bell housing? or would you have to swap that as well?

The Windsor series (302 & 351w) and the 300I6 (maybe other I6's too) use the same bellhousing.

But not the same flywheels.
5.0 uses a 50oz balance and 5.8 uses a 28.2 oz balance. Dont mix them up.
