Lightbulb Engine Possabilitys

I was thinking one day at a stop light and wonderd if the 7.5L 460ci V8 from the f450 Super duty fit im my F150. they have the same body style. and im sure id need to beef up the front suspention but would the rear axle take the punsihment? i just think it would be cool t have that much power in an f150 reg cab short bed

Do it. Just remember to get all the hardware such as the frame mounts, very important, and just get a set of front springs for an F250, I had an 80 F100 with a 429, lots of power. All frames from 80-96 F100-F550 basically the same, just the suspension is heavier for the trucks.

Rear springs will be ok, just need the hd front springs and good front shocks to control bounce.

And one other thing, you will need a 385 series trans, the small block trans will not work.
