Ok guys, let me pick your brain!! I gotta 1994 Ford F-150 4.9L 300 V6. I have a miss somewhere! I've change plug wires (accel super stock spiral 8mm) changed plugs (motorcraft) Coil pack (msd) and distributor cap & rotor button and fuel filter!!! It's kinda slow to start (rolls over slow bout 3-4 x's). It will stay running!! I can drive down the road and it starts to act like its starving for power or gas??? My question is could it be a cracked plug?? What gives guys!!

 

Could plug, but I would pull codes first.

 

Found my problem!! #3 plug was bad!!! Runs perfect now!!!

 

#3 went bad after you changed plugs?

 

#3 had a hairline crack in it! It's what cause all my cussin and spending money on new stuff

 

That sucks. Oh well, at least you got all that other new stuff on there. Coincidentally I just diagnosed a cracked plug about a month ago. Pretty much the same symptoms you described.

 

Thats what we like,nice easy fix.

 

Tell me bout it it shook like a top fuel funny car at idle lol
