Default Electrical ????

Have a '93 F150XL Reg cab 4x4 w/302 5sp. Blown fuse #22 20 amp maxi. (TFI module, ignition coil, dist. pickup, elec engine control relay coil)
Replaced fuse. As soon as I turn the ignition key, fuse blows. Followed the info on wiring harness in my Haynes manual. Checks out to specs. Any help will be appreciated. P.S. Got that peskie fuel filter out. Thanks for the help people.

Electrical problems suck. I don't know if one of those items can short out in such a way as to blow the fuse, but you can check. Just unplug the coil, TFI, etc and see if the fuse still blows. You can check for continuity from the power wire to ground to see if the wire is grounded out.

sean good call on unplugging each one at a time ,hell i would unplug all and see if fuse blows first could be short in key switch or wires going up steering coulmn and while youre looking around unplugging , look for those black tape wads ,,, you know the ones that dont look like factory , and check them out ive seen some weird ways to connect wires back.... also look for wires melted to engine from heat .... i dont know if youre the only owner of this truck if its ever been in a wreck say front end drivers side.. hope i could help

Disconnected all components. Bad ignition coil. Not all test are valid so it seems. Running like a champ.
Happy motoring.
