Not on the 4.9 and I haven't looked at my 5.0.

Sorry Sean, not on my '95 4.9. Lol
We all know you've got a hybrid with parts from numerous year model trucks and vans. Hell, I'm trying to catch up with you with my 91 rear window, mopar fans and Taurus alternator.

Yep, the best from whatever year was the best. Except I didn't do the alternator upgrade yet. That housing is a cast iron unit from my '87. I put it back on when the aluminum '92 part corroded away.

that bung would not really be an ideal place... it only gets flow after the t-stat opens and receives heat...

Ideally in with the CTS or in that line as it has direct flow 100% of the time for the heater core. thats why I taped my probe under that line and wrapped it with a piece of rubber hose.... works well

I am thinking if I pull the water pump there may be enough material next to the pump to drill and tap a bung hole...LOL

Here's a few quick questions I just need to clarify,

1) dual 12" mopar fans, I have two black wires (ground) then a green and a yellow meaning it's 2 speed. I plan on adding ac later but my fan controller has a ac over ride built in. So I guess my main question is should I join the two wires together and run it on full speed?

2) my current thermostat is stuck open so I bought a new 195', what should they kick on at 210?

I run a 185 and kick the fans in at 195. I'd go 200 or 205 with your 195.
