EGR delete

What all did you remove? You need to remove the entire system, not just the pump itself. This includes the vacuum lines:
Instead of removing the pump, I took it apart and removed the guts, relubed the bearings, capped the openings and reinstalled it as a pulley so that I can use the same drive belt:
You also need to plug the holes in the back of the heads when you remove the crossover pipe, plug the top ports of the TAB and TAD sensors, then tie the bottom line going from both bottom ports of the sensors to the vacuum tree:
No check engine light.

I know this is a really old thread. I stumbled upon it while looking for info on the impact of having an EGR delete in my 95 F150 XLT 302. After reading some of the comments, I thought I would say that I deleted my smog pump maybe a decade ago and then the rest of the setup at the back of the heads in 2019. I have never ever had a CEL as a result. I only recently had a CEL for like maybe the 2nd or 3rd time in over 20 years and it was related to insufficient flow in the EGR. I found the port on the intake clogged almost completely with carbon.
