Default efi to carb

Hello I was thinking about taking off the old efi system I'm my 1995 f150 and putting a edelbrock performer intake and a edelbrock carb. How hard would this be. It's a 302 with a 5 speed.

Are your thoughts of doing this due to issues/problems with EFI or are you just looking to own a "real truck" with a 4bbl carb? Personally, I'd think you'd be taking a step backwards going to a carb.

Getting rid of the EFI is gay. You wouldn't swap your CD player for an 8-track, would you?

Your not going to gain any power from the carb/intake alone. But if you did the carb/intake and I good cam that your efi can't support you might get some more power.
If I was doing it I would sell the efi motor as a complete used replacement and buy a higher hp S.B.F. With a carb setup to drop in.

Keep in mind, it won't be emissions legal either.

Ya i always forget about all the emissions stuff you guys have down there!

On the other hand if it's a "drag truck" that only see's the track then you are fine.
