Not unless it's swapped in. The 2001's came with the modular 4.6 or 5.4 which were never carbed from the factory. As others have said, ford ditched carbs in the 80's

someone swapped them onto it. a carbed motor would never pass epa and dot standards

The 302 first got EFI in 85 as an option. 86 it became standard. The 460 used a carb up until 90 or 91.

Pull codes: www.fordfuelinjection.com and check the timing, bump it up if you can. Factory setting should be 10* BTDC

If Ford offered carbed engines as a production engine until the 2000's then Obama is an excellent president.
