Thanks guys but the weird thing is I put this kit except the NGK plugs i put motorcraft ASF-42c (link below) on it. And it started pinging it never had before.

Did you take out the spout plug while adjusting the timing?

You want to try staying w/ 10 BTDC (stock). At 5 BTDC it's not leveraging effectively.

So your saying all this occurred after the new plugs, cap & rotor & wires?

If so replace w/the old C&R. Then switch wires back if that doesn't cure it.
Still pinging, check plug gaps & conditions, cracked electrode, ect...

I'd be surprised if your engine op. temp. doesn't increase at 5 BTDC.

Yes all of it occurred after new plugs,cap,rotor & wires.

I cant put the old stuff back i was dumb and threw it away.

I will try it back at 10 BTDC.

I also got a msd cap and rotor today so ill try it and see what happens it seems tighter than the summit one.
