Desperately need help
Hey all, ive been racking my brain busting my knuckles and just about ready to give up... Please bare with my wall of text.
Well my clutch started grabbing really high in the pedal then it started slipping so I figured it was time to replace.
Ok so I purchased a clutch kit and new flywheel and went out and replaced her, everything went smooth but I didnt know how to remove the quick release hydraulic line from below the bleeder valve and broke the tube.
So I then replaced the tube, Got everything back together.
bleed bleed bleed bleed... I get SOME pedal but as soon as I release the bleeder to let out the air the pedal goes straight to the floor and doesnt pump back up to any pedal for 30+ pumps, I bled the system for 3 hours straight.
OK at this point Im thinking I should have changed the slave, Ok well I decide to remove the transmission for a 2nd time and change the slave.
Get it all back together and put a new master cylinder on at the same time.
So I have a new clutch new slave new tube and new master.
I still cant get pedal.... same process, bled it for hours, Went to work and borrowed my buddys Mac Tools Hydraulic clutch bleeding pump.
Same thing Get pedal but not enough to go into gear when truck is on, and after I open the valve I have no pedal for 30-60 pumps.
OK so at this point im thinking they gave me the wrong clutch.
I take the clutch and slave BACK OUT (3rd time removing the transmission) take it to advance auto parts and get a new clutch kit and slave.
After I installed all parts again im STILL having the same problem I just cant bleed enough pedal to do anything. the vacuum bleeder, gravity bleeding and manual bleeding and NOTHING... when I start the truck in gear after pumping it 100 times I roll like 1mph. Goto release the valve to let last bit or air out, and I lose the pedal completely.
the truck ran great and smooth before whats going on?

Did you bench bleed the slave and master? Pull the hose off the slave, hold your finger over the hose, have someone push the pedal, and see if there is pressure, or find the old slave hook it up and see if you can get it to work, sounds like either bad master or slave.

and ive have 3 different slaves in the truck. with no avail.
when I remove the hose from the slave and the quick release is closed off the line gets so tight you cant pump the pedal anymore.

Might sound stupid, but did they give you a 3 arm or a diaphragm clutch? Also it seems the slave might not be pushing far enough. Are all the parts the same distentions and is the clutch cover and pressure plate the same height?
.
Can you start at each point and rule stuff out?
Start at the massa? check?
Then slave? good?
What else is there really?
I dont think it's your bleeding process thats the problem... bleeding a clutch should take about 1 minute to do tops... basic gravity bleed that is...
have a look,

The way I bleed one is to fill reservoir then open the bleeder and let it gravity bleed until you get a steady stream of fluid. Close the bleeder, refill the reservoir, push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and release it as quick as possible, wait about 2 seconds and repeat do this 10 times, check the reservoir level making sure to keep it full. Repeat pressing and releasing the pedal sequence 5 times. Then have someone hold the pedal down and barely crack the bleeder to let any trapped air out tighten it and release pedal, top off reservoir and you should be good to go.
Like I said this is how I do it I’m sure there are other ways that works just as well also.
