Problem..
No fuel, doesn't prime. No spark. Cranks over fine and have lights and such.
I've replaced the fuel and pcm relays, tested for power at the fuel pump and got nothing. Tried a different pcm. Unplugged the SPORTS thingy. No power at the fuel inertia switch. The truck ran fine sunday, Monday came and bam, nothing. I've checked the grounds I can find. All my fuses. I'm getting good voltage at the power box. The only thing I can think of is the pcm power diode in the main power box, but I'd like some other opinions.

The ignition switch is plastic part that wires plug into on the steering column. My '96 if I remember correctly had 2 pieces. Older style switches have a rod and the wire connection part that is the ignition switch. The key part I think is just called the ignition cylinder. The switch is what sends power and signals to everything, the cylinder just activates the switch. They have a tendency to go bad with the age these trucks are.
If all of the wires/connections are fine the next step would be the ignition switch like memoniz suggested. If it isn't completely shot you can try wiggling the wires/connectors with the key in the run position and listen to see if the fuel pump starts running. you just have to remove the lower steering column cover (3 philips screws on my 94) to access the connector.

Ah well I didn't think the ignition switch would hamper spark and fuel. Is there a test for it? It seems to be a PITA to take out and replace.
Regardless, I'll check it out first thing in the morning. This is holding me up from finding a job.
PS: My truck is a single tank version, no selector switch.
lol.
