The crank is positioned toward the lower part of the engine.

Seriously though, I don't think there is one. The dizzy is gear driven so the computer relies on the stator to tell it where the crank is in it's rotation.

That is correct, there isn't one. The computer uses the pickup coil (pip sensor).

Key on engine off (KOEO) Error code scan: https://www.f150forum.com/f10/how-re...es-obdi-10907/

How many PSI's of fuel at the rail? Try Starter Fluid to see if it bites on it.

You determinded "spark" how?

Pulled a plug wire,
I'll check on the error codes.
I'll give you full run down. It's been running rough but only sometimes, thought it was bad gas.
It also back fired once in a while.
My son was driving it (yes I know) and it quit he had it towed back to my place.
Started was froze, replaced
Battery about shot, replaced
toasted most vacuum lines, replaced
??????

most of the most annoying things are minor, which is good I guess.
I'll get back when I get the codes.

Alrighty,
changed out the fuel pump relay, fuel pump would run non stop but only sometimes. apparently the relay gets stuck open or closed sometimes.
She cranked and cranked started getting some sputtering foot to the floor. she started to start then started running like the POS it is. really rough idle. didn't run it long enough to warm it up and couldn't get it restarted (yet) battery is charging.

About the codes I need to find a jump cable gator clips not working out to well.

I was also getting some strange crackling sounds from the rail drivers side. could I have a kind of vapor lock in the rail? doesn't seem likely or possible. Or maybe the pressure regulator needs replacing.

Any Ideas?
