Thumbs up coolant leak

I have a coolant leak off the front of the motor. A mechanic looked it over and over and said it was the timing cover gasket. Is there coolant there? I never heard of it in the timing cover/gasket!

I had a leak from the timing cover on my 83 302 and it was leaking from a bolt that held on the cover and penetrated the water jacket. Shop that changed the timig chain for the PO didn't put sealer on the bolt.

I'm going to have them put a new chain and gear set on it while they have the cover off. Better to be safe than sorry knowing my luck !
