Default Coolant going down

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with coolant loss other than by a visible leak or a blown head gasket?? thanks

Heater core, maybe? Could you give us a little more info on what you're after?

You may think this is odd, but check the overflow reservoir.

I had a 97 Taurus sedan that was "losing" coolant, but with no leaks in the hoses(I replaced them) or the radiator or heater core. Every once in a while, I would notice antifreeze on the inside of the engine compartment, but could not figure out where it was coming from. Then 1 day I smelled the coolant, opened the hood and saw a small trail of coolant coming from near the overflow. I waited until the car cooled down and pulled it off the fender and sure enough, there was a small crack on the bottom where you could not see it from above. I searched several salvage yards(the stealership wanted waaay too much $) and found a near-new replacement. After that, no leak!
