So the 3 digit codes are with the engine off key on. The 2 digit codes will be with the engine running only?!?! With no check engine light there is still a possiblity that I have codes with the engine running? Can someone guide me through the steps you take to check the codes with the engine running?

Just depends on year as to two or three.

Gotta do the KOEO first. W/ any active KOEO's, KOER's may not be accurate.

Pre-warm engine to normal operating temp before either test when possible.
