Default Clutch/trans issues

Okay, so I know there are a million clutch threads on here already, but I wanted to make sure I'm on the right track before I order a lot of parts.

The M5OD behind my 302 has been a little difficult to get into gear the last year or so, and I've got a wicked leak at the tailshaft housing as well as a leaky rear main seal. So I figure it's probably time to tear it down and get the issues sorted out. Couple weeks ago I was driving home and it was nearly impossible to shift into 1st and 2nd, so I parked it and started riding my Shadow everywhere.

I went ahead and ordered new 1-2 and 3-4 shift forks, as well as a shift bushing repair kit and metal plugs for the trans. I'm looking at clutches and wondering if the Luk kits are any good (Standard or Pro Gold)...also, it looks like they include the pressure plate too---would this be an issue swapping to an 11"? Not sure what I currently have in there, although I do know it's the factory clutch (302/5spd/2wd supercab shortbed, if that helps.)

Also, I didn't see Motorcraft slave cylinders on Rockauto's site...I'm guessing it's probably worth it to find a genuine Motorcraft slave so I don't have to do this twice, right?

Both the 10 or 11 will fit. I went ahead and bought a new flywheel last time I did mine. Your plan sounds good.

I had a 10 in mine. I change it to 11 everything changed over nicely with no problems.

I put a 10" back in mine wish I had went with the 11". Sounds like you have a good game plan. Never ran one but have good things on the Luk kits.

I put a luk pro gold 11". Works good with no complaints. The pro gold kit was a better price then the standard kit. If you can get a standard kit it is good enough, pro gold is a bit of over kill.

Thanks for all the responses, glad to hear I'm on the right track. Went ahead and got the Luk standard clutch kit as well as a new Luk flywheel and a rear main seal. Guess I'll call the Ford dealer tomorrow to get a Motorcraft slave cylinder ordered in.
