Default Clutch

What would cause the clutch to go straight to the floor and stay there? There's fluid in the line. Someone said its the clutch saftey switch wich I don't know what that is and I cant find anything wrong. I NEED HELP PLEASE. Btw its a 1993 f150 straight six

Get underneath the truck and see if the bottom of the bell housing is wet or not. If it's not, then check for wetness around the clutch master cylinder.

I replaced the saftey switch and the clutch master cylinder Those were the two things wrong. Now when you push the clutch in it doesn't come back, but has resistance on the way down. WTF!!!!!!!! I need help

It has air in the system, open bleeder and let it drip, if you feel some resistance while pushing on pedal, the master should be free of air, pedal not returning is pointing to air in slave cylinder.

You don't bleed the clutch the same way as brakes.

u will need 2 ppl to bleed have one person pump it like 5 times and hold it to the floor then other person open bleeder till it slows to a drip then close and repeat till u have good clutch pressure and it goes into gear
