Can't really say. It can last a while, or crap out tomorrow. Eithrer way, if the computer is bad the truck isn't running as well as it should.

maaaaaannnn... but to me it is running better after i did the tune up, this sucks, where is the computer located? can i buy them new or do i have to go to a junk yard?

The computer is behind the drivers side kick panel inside the cab. The main harness plugs into it under the hood and also has a bolt in it so the plug doesn't fall off. You should be able to get the computer new for around $100, but since it is possible it might be fine I'd get one from the junk yard for cheaper.
