Default Cheap 94f150

Well i just bought a 94 F150, I've not seen it since i purchased it. But its a single cab long bed. 302 auto,3.55's. They said it just stopped pulling. I'm guessing its the transmission. You never know, though lol. I bought it from the coal mine where i work. My dad has drove the truck most of its life. About 6ish years ago they send it to the other side of the coal mine to finish out its life. In this 6 years it went from a sweet slick f150, To probably just a parts truck.

It broke down, And they said it wasn't worth the tow bill to get it checked out.

I paid 100 bucks for it

That is it just 2 years ago.So we will see. I bought it, because i know they just put new tires on it not too long ago. And i know their are alot of parts that will fit my f250.

If i can fix it cheaply i will use it to tow my boat. I'd say its got over 200k on it. But its always had the best parts money could buy, and was never miss used. Hardly left this coal mine. (Up intill 6years ago, When it was handed off to die lol)

Figured i'd start a thread. Might have some questions. I've had a few of these trucks and some 87-91's

Damn. That was a steal. If nothing else you could sell it for scrap metal and make a quick $500.

Yeah, I think i might try to get one lump sum on craigslist pretty, quick or tear it apart and scrap it, I need some parts for my F250...

I've not seen it or anything yet. I'll pick it up tomorrow after work.

Really, It could have a busted trans line, Rear end, Drive shaft... There is no telling with the guys who would have been driving it. They have a 97 same blue color, That i've wanted for ever. lol Its in much much worse shape.

Scrap must be low where you're at when I worked at Luthi's we scrapped on for about 650 without stripping anything but the gas tank.

yeah it has been awhile since i scrapped a car. it was a 91 licolonn continental. got 300 for it. never scrapped an f150 nor will i ever.

I do know Dodges are very sought after by scrappers due to there heavier then Chevy and fords

I bought the truck for 650 so I think it was well worth it considering it just has 127k and is in pretty good shape

I'd say. I bought my old 77 f350 for 700 and scrapped it for 850. It was a heavy fella though.

Scrap cars go for roughly ten cents a pound.
