Default Carpet Kit

Good day everyone. I am replacing my original vinyl flooring (in excellent shape) with carpet. NPD utilizes Auto Custom Carpets as their supplier so I researched ACC and they only sell through vendors. Has anyone used an ACC carpet kit and if so what are your thoughts and input? I narrowed down my purchase of the kit to Stock Interiors @ Stockinteriors.com or Factory Interiors @ factoryinteriors.com as they are cheaper than NPC or LMC. I appreciate any advice/guidance.

I would not shop lowest price for carpet...ask each supplier for a small sample of their carpet and whether their product requires padding, binding, sound deadener and so on. The factory stuff is pretty good quality. The samples will give you an idea of how the carpet will hold up, or not.

I am not going for the cheapest, I am looking for the quality (made in the USA). During my research of various carpet manufactures I discovered that several companies utilize the same vendor (ACC) but their prices are very different. I do think that I am going to ask for samples of the carpet and colors because my interior is grey but I want black for the floor.

I have bought an AAC carpet kit for my 64 F100 but have only trial-fit it and it fits perfect. About all I can relate this to.

I have an ACC carpet kit that the seller included with the purchase of my '91 F-150. I plan on installing it this week, so I rolled it out yesterday to give it a look and I am very pleased. Pre-molded around harsh contours and high-quality rubber underneath. I can let you know how it fits after I install it if that will help you with your decision?

Thank you. I do think that the ACC is the way to go for me. I am curious as to how your install goes.

You do know the vinyl flooring was an option? I think mine was a $40 option over carpet (according to the window sticker I still have). Mine is still perfect and a quick sweep with a small broom and a quick wipe with a damp rag, all is clean again Just saying...………….

Mine too and I love vinyl in my 96 F150. My floor is also original and doesn't take much to keep it clean save for the occasional wet wipe down to make it look brand new again.
