Default Cab mounts

What holds the cab to the frame. Is it just those 2 bolts up front that holds it on.

Depends on how rusty it is, two under the front of the cab, two under the back on a regular cab, and two at the Rad support if the fenders and stuff are still there. The ones at the back of the cab are usually. Covered by rubber plugs. Right behind the seat, big round ones.

When taking them out you must loosen the bolt up and out then put it back in about 3 threads then hit the bolt with a hammer until the bolt looks like it's tightened up again then unscrew the bottom and the middle section will pull right out.

The rear cab mounts on mine weren't down in the whole with the rubber over them they were the 2 big bolt heads right out in the open. I think they were #15 sockets came out with my good impact.

The 2 in the center of the cab are under the carpet. You have to pull the plastic covering on the lower dash next to the door and then pull the carpet up until you see a large rubber gromet. It's like 1.5" wide and 3.5" long. Pull that up then under that is the top of the body bolt. I think there #15 too.

The the front two are up in the radiator support. One is infront of the battery. You have the spot where you put your passenger head light in at. And then you have the edge of the radiator on the passenger side look between these two spot and you will see a bolt head that's the bolt top. The other one is right in front of the radiator overflow cap between the head light and the radiator. Get a 1.5' extension and a good impact haha

I was always told you had to use some kind of round spacer to pull the buching out..

Am I wrong?

I thought you had to loosen the inside bolt, then put that on the mount on the outside with the round spacer between the mount and the bolt and tighten it down. It then pulled the mount apart because they are 2 pieces?

What he sad about whompin em with a hammer works, but its only important if you need to separate the bushing halves. I think there is a puller, I used an air chisel on the bolt head's, when I did my mounts.
