BTW, you can't just go by the low pressure. You need a full set of guages and the specs for your system depending on ambient temp.
Thanks for the info. The evaporator is frosting up. Condenser is hot. Vacuum solenoid is good at the firewall. Everything seems to be working fine on the engine side. I know that I do not have the proper gauges or how much oil or freeon is in the system. I am trying to figure out the "heat when ac is on" problem first. Im trying to check out the blend doors and vacuum solenoid soon and hopefully figure out the problem to save from diagnostic fee's before I get the truck charged when there is another problem to tackle first. I will get the system evacuated and charged after.

Vacuum valve under the dash is working. Now im thinking it is possibly the blend doors inside the heater box.

I about forgot about this thread. I spliced a stainless steel cut off valve in the heater hose, the AC blows frost from the vents now.
