Is your fan on full blast when you try and turn it?

the rod is so tight that the **** just spins on top of it. so i have to pull the **** off and use vise grips to turn it. It is tight all the time.

Cables sound like they are stuck or the door itself is stuck. Mine gets tight if the fan is on full blast.

There's a cable that runs to the box behind your glove box and you can adjust it there
