Default busted window

my bros busted the passenger side window out of my 89 f150. so i called my buddy at the junk yard and told him 89 f150 window. he got me one but when it put it in its to tight to for the power window motor to push it up or down.

itll take it up until about half way but after that you got to use your hands and have someone push the button.

i didnt know if there was different cab styles for f150 and f250. or maybe he got one off an extended cab

any ideas?

Sounds like the glass isn't in the track properly. The glass is the same from '80-'96, all cab styles.

also check for debris from the old window. There may be something stuck in the track causing the window to stop moving. The little glass bits go everywhere as I'm sure you're aware of now ;-)
