Brake lines
I like to use it while someone else still pumps the pedal, so I can watch the bubbles. And you don't have to open and close the bleeder over and over and you don't get fluid everywhere.
When I bleed them on my motorcycle I just connect some clear tubing to the bleeder so I can watch for bubbles, and direct the old fluid straight into a container. I hate the thought of getting brake fluid on my rims or tires
My truck required longer than a 4 foot brake line across the cross member... Would of needed about 4.5 feet. Didn't want to flare anything so I got a 6 foot piece and ended up making a nice design of waves in the line running down the cross member to use up the slack lol.
And then I went to go bleed 'em, and broke the bleeders. So I got new calipers. $30 a piece thru Napa with a metal piston, instead of the OEM phenolic or whatever it's called. Then life was finally good. My brake pedal has the exact same feel as before, but I bet it'll finally get away from spongy when I do the back brakes... seeing as they leak from the wheel cylinders
