you most likely have a short somewhere, is there rats arounds your area?

they might be chewing at your wires

or has the truck ever been in a accident?

i own a mechanic shop and so many customer come in with issues like this, the rat chews up the wire and the wire isnt completely cut but cut enough where the positive touches the ground on the body and shorts out

what also happens if cars or truck get into accidents and the body shop fixes the body but does crappy work with the wires and after time the wires come apart and once again the positive touches the ground and shorts out
