bed removal

Default bed removal

My search didn't come up for much on this so. How much of a PITA is it to remove the bed off my 95 to replaces the fuel pump?

depends how rusted the bolts are, it took me and my brother 30 minutes to pull the bed off my 96 with hand tools.

not really, just remember to pull the wire harness for the taillights. me and my brother just pulled the whole harness off the back rail of the bed, but you should be able to unplug it under there. also the fuel filler necks, we forgot those in our rush lol.

have you removed fuel pumps before? they are held in with, i call them lock rings, and i just used a screwdriver and a hammer to remove them.

you will know what im talking about when you see it, its very straight forward, if you can change your oil you can replace the fuel pumps lol.

the drivers side bolt closest to the cab is a PITA to get to because the front tank is in the way. a swivel adapter and a few extensions are a must.

the plug for the tail lights is on the drivers frame rail right behind the rear bumper area.

when you take the screws out for the filler neck, remove the gas caps they wont ft through the hole, lol

So I replaced the pump I had pressure at first checked an second time an now barely pressure. any ideas? ?
